Instead of thinking of trigonometry only as triangles, we can treat:

y = sin x,  y = cos x,  y = tan x

as functions.

11.2 Graph idea (starter)

A graph shows how the value changes as x changes.

We’ll focus on amplitude/period for sin and cos, and asymptotes for tan.
